The temptation of being "gay" is not a sin, it is the act itself that is sin.Being gay is about loving a spouse. Sex is only part of that love, just as it is in opposite-sex marriages.
Being gay is not a sin.
Do you have any testimony from homosexual people to support that theory? In my experience, most homosexual men and women would emphatically deny your theory. And it doesn't seem to make much sense, either.
David.
I did not choose to be gay. I am happy being gay, but I did not choose to be gay any more than I chose to be female or chose to be right-handed. It's just a characteristic of me, part of who I am.
If people really chose their sexual orientation, I suspect very few people indeed would choose to be gay and face widespread discrimination, denigration, rejection from families, and lack of social support. That's what gay people face. You don't seem to be aware of this.
There is nothing sexually immoral about a committed same-sex marriage.
Being gay is about loving a spouse. Sex is only part of that love, just as it is in opposite-sex marriages.
Being gay is not a sin.
So homosexuals make a conscious decision to be homosexual, when they really have the same heterosexual attractions and feelings that heterosexuals have?In most cases today, yes.
Why? What is "evil" about them? How do they harm anyone?Yes, these relationships are forbidden and evil to the core.
Being gay is most emphatically NOT about loving oneself... its about loving other people, just the same as beiong heterosexual is...Being gay is about loving oneself. Sex is the only part of that love, just as it is not so in opposite-sex marriages.
Being gay is a sin.
There is nothing in scripture that says penguins exist either... whats your point? There is nothing in the scriptures that says a same-sex marriage exists.
There's also nothing in the Scripture that says airplanes or wheelchairs should exist. Should we do away with them? There is nothing in the scriptures that says a same-sex marriage exists.
Wheelchairs are a tool of the devil! If God wanted quadriplegics to move around freely, he wouldn't have blessed them with quadriplegia! There's also nothing in the Scripture that says airplanes or wheelchairs should exist. Should we do away with them?

Yes, I do.
Please post it here, then.
David.

Yes, because actually providing evidence that is claimed to exist is much less effective than merely claiming it exists. If you think I'm actually going to round up those people I know who are homosexual to come into this God-forsaken place to speak to this debate, you must be delirious with fever!
The Bible doesn't say that penguins exist either.Precisely!
Which is precisely my point... just because the Bible doesn't mention something, doesn't mean it doesn't, or can't exist.
