Homosexuality is a sin

Homosexuality is not a sin.

Homosexual activity is a sin.

Please, can people learn the distinction here? Temptation is temptation, sis is sin.
They are not the same thing!

I follower of the entire Bible literally, since it's the word of the Lord. I don't pick and choose parts that suit my needs or conform to the way this society is becoming more and more liberal. I agree with the thread-starter that homosexuality is a sin.

Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

So, since you're a literalist how many notches do you have on your belt from all of the homosexuals that you've stoned to death? Or, how about kids that have dishonored their parents? Or how about those that have profaned the Sabbath? Or, how about those that divorce and remarry? Or, how about . . .

If you haven't stoned any of these people to death then you're not too obedient to the word of God, are you? And, as long as you are not obedient to the word of God then how can you possibly have any credibility?


Don't the contributors and the readers on this forum recognize how LUDICROUS this whole thing is? About 16 years ago I saw an episode of the Phil Donahue Show that featured Madelyn O'Hair, the well-known atheist. One of the members of the O'Hair team made the statement that Christianity is insanity. If I had been in the audience I would have argued that point with her. These days, however, I'm beginning to swing to her way of thinking. IS Christianity insanity or can some Christians make Christianity APPEAR to border on the insane?

Well if BaptistBibleGuy is following Jesus Christ who is the fulfillment of the law then he wont stone anyone, the punishment for sin is up to Jesus not humans.

Of course it is foolishness to those who are perishing.. 1 Corinthians 1:18 "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God."
