If one searches thought the bible enough and cherry picks verses prejudice and hate against any minority or individual can but vindicated. But doing so flies in the face of the teachings of Jesus.

I'm sorry, I didn't cherry pick. Those verses clearly say that Homosexuality is a sin, and that's the bottom line. No interpretation needed, unless you think words have no meaning.

I'm sorry, but again, you are wrong. Being Black is not a sin, nor is it talked about as one in the Bible. The Bible can be taken out of context, and presupisitions can be super imposed onto scripture, but it's hard to say that even though the Bible says something is a sin, that it might not be. You are bringing condemnation on the Word of God.

This is in stark contrast to the view that many people take on homosexuality. The Bible appears to condemn homosexuality, and some people decide to condemn gay people on that basis.
You were earlier criticising people for 'cherry-picking', but I suggest this is exactly what some people do. They ignore the bits of the Bible on slavery, but concentrate, to the point of being rather unhealthily interested, on the passages concerning homosexuality. That was my point, and that's how the two are linked.

That doesn't relate to my post at all, and you haven't answered why some people ignore Biblical teaching on slavery, but not on homosexuality.
