IM not saying this for the people who say their Christians to fight with me who dont agree.
But those who understand. I've heard people try to change meanings of the bible that skim through but dont study but skim and make conclusions based on random false teachers theories who lie about the meaning of the bible. Those who study the bible know the bible says several times homosexual is a sin, then it describes what it means for women to be with women and man to be with men, then it even includes men not to wear women clothes and girl clothes, then it goes on to say homosexuality will increase in the last days. so many verses I can pull up and refer to. yet these rainbow flag churches are calling them christian pastors and making up false theologies saying God accepts this. and it makes alot of us Christians think. if you accept aboriton and this too WHAT ARE YOU PREACHING, cause how are yall Christians but believe nothing in the bible. theres no way your preaching it without tearing scriptures or skipping scriptures in the bible, no way possible. NOWAY our bible pretty much goes against this so how are yall christians what bible are you representing?
I've even had unbelievers say, homosexual dont mean being gay in the bible it means rape in the bible not being gay, so therefore we can be gay, and he went on to say it mean rape because the word wasnt homosexual along time ago. WHich isnt true cause God describes what it means to be homosexual in the bible. And yall I saw another video that sounded crazy but these pastors were saying something about God didnt mean homosexual and they talked about how it meant somehting regarding a unicorn in Gods time YALL LISTEN my head dropped after hearing what they said it meant!!! they are lying about what they see in the bible. In order to ignore the doctrine thats clearly there.
Then I heard another unbeliever say there was some man were trying to rape a man in the bible, and theyll say therefore God accept gay people cause why would God mention man trying to have sex. WHAT? HELLO that dont mean God allowed it, its like they cant tell when God is just telling a story about events that happened verses a command. God was telling a story not about himself but about events that happened. And theres many stories that are about killing, and doing things outside of Gods will but God was illustrating a story about what happen, theyll take anything in the bible ignore the rest of what the bible say and be like HERE MY PROOF. but lets ignore the rest of the bible just focus on this small detail I saw.
And people be like IM CHRISIAN AND GOD SAYS HE LOVES THIS. How are you missing any of these scriptures theres NOWAY they are reading our bible theres no way possible . The text is clear as day. So its like feel like imposter christians and imposter churches. ANd the church community is so quiet like its ok they lie about whats in our bible!
Im not saying the church should put them down, I dont think we should condemn anyone, but the church and major church leaders are not REBUKING with Righteous Judgement. If we see someone in sin that claims to be right or be walking in the right but they are wrong and we dont say nothing the bible says blood is on our hands cause they could of repented. but if we do say somehting and they choose to continue in sin, the blood is not on your hands but thats all on them.

Which says that in Ezekial 3:18
( God is saying in this text when we refuse to listen to Him, the text describes the acts to be shameful , and indecent desires that are shameful to the Lord , He will ALLOW us to engage in it, he wont force us to stop, this dont mean its not a sin, this mean like all sin, that happens on earth, Gods not going to put a knife to nobody head and say dont kill dont steal, if we want to resist Gods will, by all means Gods not going to force anyone to do HIs will. )
  1. ROMANS 1:26-27
Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

  2. Leviticus 18:20 "If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an ABOMINATION; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them
Deuteronomy 22;5 “A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman's garment, for all who do so are an ABOMINATION to the LORD your God.

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,
(bible gave description a few times on what it says homosexuality is and its included in the text of what will not enter the kingdom of God)

One thing I know for a fact the reason why alot of christains arent speaking up is because persecution is heading for the church and christains are fearful of losing their jobs and that those christains who stand for rebuking and telling the truth of whats in the bible will be punished especially once the anti-christ appears for not agreeing with the practices of the world! And then we will see all the other christains likely not be persecuted cause they accept God but also agree with alot of unbelievers on what they believe is right! Christians they will have alot of people people who like them. while the rest of us get rejected & die for Christ ! Cause the bible say they didnt hate Jesus cause He was Jesus ! otherwise theyd like Him. The bible say the reason why Christ said the world hated Him was because He told people what they were doing was EVIL. And people in those days were offended by his teachings of what we should and should not do cause they didnt want to stop and feel guilt about what they liked so they killed, Jesus.

In general, applying sex to the meaning of love goes into the realm of gnosticism, not Christianity.

Just so you are aware, gnosticism and homosexuality cannot be promoted on these forums.

Lust is not love.
That's all homosexual acts are.

"Love is love" means nothing because homosexual "love" is not love, but a violent act of hate. Homosexuality cannot be promoted or endorsed in these forums because we are Christians here.

According to Romans 1:18-32, homosexuality is a consequence of refusing God. Please take a look at verse 27 that says they received inside themselves "the penalty of their error which was due." So, there is built-in punishment with sinning. And in gay people there is emotional punishment . . . but not only for wrong outward behavior.

It says God gave sinful people "over to" their evil-mindedness. And He "gave them up to vile passions" > I see that ones refused God; and so He let Satan's evil spirit have them > "the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience." (Ephesians 2:2) The evil-spirited passions of perversion are a punishment, then, of not sharing with God in His beautifully wondrous and kind family sharing and caring love. And instead ones are dragged around by demanding passions for pleasure, and enough is never enough. Because physical pleasure can not satisfy.

And before Paul tells us this, one thing he says is how the ones refusing God were not "thankful" > in Romans 1:21. Even before ones became gay, enough was not enough; and ones did not appreciate how God created their bodies for having children; and so they were turned over to more and more dissatisfaction of enough not being enough.

But, of course, gays are not the only ones who have failed to be "thankful"; ones not gay have also gotten deeper and deeper in their seeking what can not satisfy > as they "worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator". As ones seek creature pleasure, instead of God, they get into slavery to their feelings and emotions driving them after pleasure.

So, not only gays have gotten into trouble because of not being thankful and because of seeking creature pleasure instead of seeking and sharing with God.

And even though certain ones have not been released into homosexuality as their punishment, their pleasure demands so dictatorial have gotten them ruined in the abuse of worry and arguing and unforgiveness, with the built-in punishment and torment of this anti-love stuff.

So, gay stuff and ruined marriages are the end-product. Possibly, then, ones need to deal with what causes these problems, instead of giving so much attention to what is the product! And by calling attention only or mainly to gays, this can help to keep attention away from the evil things of wrong marriage which have helped to produce children who do not know how to love in a close involvement, so then they could become desperate for foolish ways of seeking pleasure, including by getting into homosexual stuff.

Yes when we read the context the penalty during that time was death, though its clear it says God sees it as a shameful act and in revelation it shows those who practice it ownt be able to enter the kingdom of God

IT HAS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH CHRISTAINITY. It has been preached BOLDY until this current generation. Because there are lots of christains who think like me but have admitted are afraid of persuction being harrassed by people that support the lgbt community and being shut up. and canceld. because they want to take away our religion and LIE ABOUT WHATS IN OUR BIBLE! the thing is the bible speaks on this subject and people dont want to acknowledge it. THe bible talks about people who will be clothed looking righteous but denying the power of God and His Word in these last days. And the people who encourage homosexuality and aboriton in the church will not be the ones persucuted in the last days, because like Jesus said, the didnt hate JEsus cause he was Jesus they Hated jesus because He said what they were doing was evil. JOhn 7 "It hates me, though, because I testify that its works are evil." and that is that! & those who are willing to stand up for the truth are going to be the ones separated from the tares and the ones persucted. !While the christains who agree with the worlds thinking and false teachers will be LOVED . God didnt say he joined man and man together, he hasnt showed demonstration of a love story of a gay couple in the bible. and he made adam and eve adn said his will was to procreate. but in the last days, people will twist the bible to make it match the desires they wish to carry out. this is in 2 timothy 4:3 .

I see what your saying! I believe also like you, that its a deeper rooted issue aswell!
My thing is not to zoom in on them for that fact thats its a sin, because there are other sins that God has spoken about along side that sin. My issue isn't that homosexuality is a sin, which it is! my issue is that people are saying
Dont steal dont kill, but when they dont want to do obey something they call it good, and my issue with homosexuality is that the CHURCH is calling it good, and the church needs to be rebuked, and so does the world because yes its not the only sin that leads to death, but its one of the sins these false teachers are screaming thats its OKAY! And thats where I say we the church need to stand up and say NO ITS NOT! otherwise Blood is on OUR HANDS!

Why do you call them church leaders when their actions say otherwise? Just because you stand in a pulpit or have a flock doesn’t mean you’re His.

Since we know the tree by its fruit that should be our benchmark for discrimination. If they remain in the post we should be more outraged by the souls they’re deceiving than this topic.

There’s wolves and tares in the church. That’s why wisdom is needed.

Lust = love was boldly preached in Corinth until Paul rebuked them for it. I'm sure every generation has had people boldly preaching a variation on that, but it is gnostic in nature, not Christian.

no it talked more than love and lust ist sdecribed and spoke of homosexuality, I attend 4 churches, 1 for my childs ministry and the other 2 on occasion, cause i cant attend sunday mornings. And 1 cause the pastor is like a mom to me, and every last one of those churches are christain churches who agree homosexuality is a sin boldly. IM not saying churches are not speaking boldly but not LOUD enough for the world to hear, We still believe this. Christains I know believe this, its in our bible. You can think different if you want, but ive been apart of the christain community most of my life and been saved since 3. You cant tell me what our community believe.

Actually when Jesus was alive the penalty for homosexuality was death.

First of all, Jesus IS alive.

Second of all, during the Lord's earthly ministry the Sanhedrin didn't have the legal authority to sentence anyone to death, which is the whole reason when Jesus was arrested at night, He was sent to Pilate, the Roman governor of Judea.

Thirdly, the wages of sin is death--the homosexual person is not a worse sinner than you or me. The condemnation against us, all of us, is universal, "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" writes St. Paul in his letter to the Romans. The penalty for your sin is also death, just as it is for mine. The Law judges us and condemns us as dead sinners. Which is why the only righteousness we have in this life is the righteousness that is the gift of God, it is Christ's righteousness imputed to us as pure grace, received through faith.

Fourthly, I truly hope that you don't think putting gay people to death is a good thing. As that isn't the Lord's way. In fact it's the opposite of His way as He has shown us in His Gospel.

How did they kill Stephen and send orders to arrest Christians in Damascus and return them to Jerusalem to be executed?

Are churches in general rebuking sinful behavior these days? I feel shocked (in a pleasant way) whenever my pastor directly scorns sinful behavior and sinful influence because it's not something I've personally seen or heard much lately. The whole LGBTABCD etc. thing is just one of many sins that the corporate church doesn't seem to be willing to address directly for fear of being labeled "judgmental" by the world. It's sad. God will judge us all, regardless of what popular society thinks. Chasing social clout by dancing around the topics of sinful acts (homosexuality included) is simply demonic.

I could be mistaken, but I've always been of the impression that the Sanhedrin didn't have legal authority to execute anyone; but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. What we witness concerning St. Stephen's stoning looks a lot more like mob violence than a valid court of justice; Stephen was murdered by a mob. If a judge kills you on the street, it's not a death sentence delivered by a court of law, it's just regular murder.

I, also, heard this a lot and believed it for a long.

"However, some scholars, such as Rabbi Louis Jacobs in The Jewish Religion: A Companion, have noted that the power of Jewish courts to impose a death sentence was ended by the Romans sometime in the first century of the Common Era, and as a result the Talmudic discussions of the matter, including their imposition of stringent rules of evidence in capital cases, should be understood as purely theoretical — not as practical guidance for how such cases should actually be adjudicated. Jacobs also pointed to passages in the Talmud and elsewhere that permit extrajudicial execution in certain circumstances as evidence that Jewish law is not as uncomfortable with the death penalty as is sometimes said to be the case."

https://www.myjewishlearning.com/article/the-death-penalty-in-jewish-tradition/

It seems that if the Sanhedrin didn't have legal authority to execute anyone, this might have happened after the Lord's crucifixion.

But I'm completely open to evidence that they lost this legal power before 30 AD. This issue interests me.
