LGBT+ Pride celebrations are happening all over the world and Jamaica is set to have their celebrations during August 1 – 7. This year, the theme is Celebrating LGBT Life & Culture in Jamaica, the Caribbean and the Diaspora. #PRiDEJA2017

Pride gives courage, hope, opportunity

Homosexuality, bisexuality and transvestism are sins, and these celebrations are completely offensive to God and Jesus Christ, who created all of us in his image and likeness.

Humans did not create other humans, God created us. We are all subjected to Jesus Christ whether we choose to accept him or not.

All of us will have to give an account of our actions and speech while on earth to God. There is no escaping this. No amount of money, popularity, power, will mean anything on the day of judgement.

Whenever we die on earth, we leave everything behind, we cannot carry them with us like how the Pharoah's tried to do for the afterlife.

Without Jesus Christ, there is no hope, no peace, and no love, just darkness.

So while the gay community frequently talks about love, peace etc if they were to examine their own thoughts, actions, and words this would reveal not love, but the complete opposite which is hate.

The gay community uses the word pride to describe their movements, but this is not surprising. Nothing good can ever come from pride.

(18) Pride goeth before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.

Gay people will almost always be able to play legitimately - the "you're a hypocrite" card, since our society at large aggressively promotes many many many many things that are unquestionably sinful, and those things don't get a peep out of most of conservative Christians.

I haven't seen any adulterers, pedophiles (but they're starting), murderers, thieves, etc, running around half naked, or fully, in front of minor children, celebrating that they are sinning, but their sin is now an un-sin, and trying to force people to accept that lie. I would say that they are more the hypocrite because everyone knows that homosexuality is a sin.
Romans 2 makes it very clear, that whether saved or not, the Law has been written on our hearts -14 For when Gentiles, who do not have the law, xby nature do what the lawrequires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law. 15 Theyshow that the work of the law is ywritten on their hearts, while their consciencealso bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even excuse them.
So, the homosexuals, et al, all know they are sinning against Christ and that they are living a lie - that is hypocrisy.
When the others try to un-sin their sinful acts, the church will involve itself there also.

Well,maybe,just maybe,if gays were not discriminated against,and hated by heterosexuals,there would not be a need for a gay pride parade.Just as if there were no "Jim Crow" laws and discrimination of Afro_Americans,after the Civil War,there would have been no need for the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960's.

or a false charity. For lets face it......charity does not rejoice in inquity

Apparently they were not discriminated against before the 1970's. Russia hasn't had those types of parades for the past few years either. I guess Russia must have stopped discriminating against them...

The thing that wasn't okay in the Bible was same sex actions. Which is understandable because 1. sex doesn't work like that and 2. the population was very small. There's nothing wrong with being in a loving consensual romantic celibate relationship.

If they're proud that they have someone to love, then why do they need a parade labeled as "gay pride" if it's not about that? If a person is proud of the person they love, they usually brag to their friends that this man or woman is their husband or wife. Marching in a parade that goes by the name of Gay Pride (never mind the things we see people doing in them) indicates something different. I could love my dog, my dad, and the girl next door, but it wouldn't cause me to take part in a gay pride parade.
