I`m writing this to help those in need to understand what homosexuality is all about. I`m heterosexual, I never been homosexual or bi, and I don`t have tendencies. But I want to help those that have questions.
First off, don`t be afraid of telling someone that you need help. Some will not understand, but a true christian will. Thats the first step. I know it is tough, I had to confront my problems with drinking to others and it was hard. These might be different, but they are still sins. And don`t let people put you down with hate and utter disgust. The people that put you down fear themselves, so ignore them like Jesus did when he was mocked.
Also don`t tell someone you don`t trust. If you have any suspicision about someone, don`t tell them. Tell someone you can truelly trust. If you don`t trust anyone, then look online for a group or talk to me. Talk to someone who won`t judge you and mock you, make fun of you and spread your buisness around, for this is your own struggle.
Second, Pray. Prayer is the best way to get things out to God. If we can tithe, we can pray. If we can goto church, we can pray. Prayer is a meditation as well as a communitcation to God. Pray and give God your burdens and tell him you want to change and mean it from the bottom of your heart. This also goes back to step one, if you still don`t trust someone, pray and God will send someone to you. Read Mark 4:10.
Third, read the Bible and research homosexuality. Most of what people say is negative and hateful propaganda towards the homosexual community. If we are to be Christains, then we need to stop with the attacks and help. But the reason I say read the Bible is because it is misinturprted just like anything else, and you must read to understand for yourself. In Romans chapter 1, Paul writes to the Romans and tells them of they`re homosexual ways saying they`re desires lead to immoral acts. Read this and look up homosexuality in the Bible on a online search engine.
Four, rid yourself of any temptation that leds to homosexuality. This means porn, online chatrooms, pictures of the opposite sex that intise you, or anything that could cause sexual thoughts. The key to wanting to change is to make the change. If I didn`t stop going to bars, I would still be in them. If I didn`t pray and throw away my beer magazines and beer and liquor supplies, I would still be drinking. And again this is completely different, but it is still a sin. In order to change, change that around you which causes your problems.
Five, don`t give in to temptation. Sins of the flesh can be way more tempting then alchol, cigerattes, drugs, or anything else. The flesh brings about pleasure, so it`s hard to resist it. But if you feel a temptation, then stop what you are doing and pray. Or do something else. Find something to rid you of your temptation, but prayer is number 1. And beware of Satan, for the more you change for the good, the worse the temptations will become. It`s hard to resist, but you can do it. God will watch over it. God gives us the strength to do these things, so don`t fear. And when the going gets tough, fight harder. God will reward you for you feats.
I hope this helps, and if it doesn`t, IM me so we can talk. I want to help anyone, and I`m not prejdudice against anyone. And if you are offended at all I`m sorry, but I am trying to do the Christian thing, and not the haters way. God bless you and have a great day and night.
