• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

Homosexuality as a choice!

I believe that you can chose not to be homosexual... during my teens I never though i could be gay even though i played on my homosexual tendensies... I chose a life in solitude with the Lord as a eunuch... I decided to make myself sexless for the sake of the kingdom... I don't want to be engaged in homsexuality anymore, and i do not want a woman... I live as a eunuch studying the bible and work for the lord in my solitude!

For all struggling wit homosexuality, you can chose to be obidient to the Lord.

Now it is true, that the term sin is not mentioned along with homosexualty in the bible, the bible do not describe homosexuality as a sin... The idea is set forth if we link it to sexual immoralty that is sin against your own body, but with this it includes hetrosexuals as well. The bible use the term abomination when describing homosexuallity.

You can live alone without being homosexual, and chose a clean life... i did so!

Its really different for anyone. I remember the first day I actually masturbated. At that point it was all about just discovering my body but then being scared of my dad and feeling detached from other boys my age just started the weird journey that I have been on since then. No one consciously makes the decision to be a homosexual to be honest. Its more layered than that. It always is.
