CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have no reason to lie on these internet forums. The man asked if it was true that everyone has had atleast one homosexual fantasy. I just let him know that I had no such experience. I would slap myself in the face before I let the thought continue. No offense to any gays out there, but it's just too nasty in my opinion.sparklecat said:

The weirdness mainly comes from the concept of homosexual fantasies being an uncontrollable temptation. I had never really thought of it as such. But I suppose, like any addiction, that upon the slightest conscious "exploration" of certain criteria, the brain is likely to reincite what it considers to be pleasurable.Dyrwen said:

Well, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Christian or not. I just find it hard to believe that ANYONE could NEVER have a thought like that just ONCE. But then again, my mum claims to never have had a thought like that in her life, so maybe its true. *shrugs*Michali said:
