Do you think the homosexual explosion is the symptom of a world who's turned it's back on even the basic knowledge of God's existence?

Romans 1:20-28 There are things about God that people cannot see—his eternal power and all that makes him God. But since the beginning of the world, those things have been easy for people to understand. They are made clear in what God has made. So people have no excuse for the evil they do. People knew God, but they did not honor him as God, and they did not thank him. Their ideas were all useless. There was not one good thought left in their foolish minds. They said they were wise, but they became fools. Instead of honoring the divine greatness of God, who lives forever, they traded it for the worship of idols—things made to look like humans, who get sick and die, or like birds, animals, and snakes. People wanted only to do evil. So God let them go their sinful way. And so they became completely immoral and used their bodies in shameful ways with each other. They traded the truth of God for a lie. They bowed down and worshiped the things God made instead of worshiping the God who made those things. He is the one who should be praised forever. Amen. Because people did those things, God let them do the shameful things they wanted to do. Women stopped having natural sex with men and started having sex with other women. In the same way, men stopped having natural sex with women and began wanting each other all the time. Men did shameful things with other men, and in their bodies they received the punishment for those wrongs. People did not think it was important to have a true knowledge of God. So God allowed them to have their own worthless thinking. And so they do what they should not do.

The thing people miss in the above verses is that the homosexual explosion is the byproduct of a world that has turned it's back on God, it's not the turning of the back itself. The turning of the back involved many things such as adultery, killing, lying, Sabbath rejection, stealing, worshiping other gods, taken the LORD's name in vain, dishonoring parents and of course, homosexuality. These things have been around for thousands of years but it's not until God's creation rejects or even refuses to acknowledge even the basic existence of God that we get the homosexual explosion.

I think the homosexual explosion is going to reveal the true heart of Christians as being unchrist like. The question we need to ask is, "Who here can cast the first stone?"

I think each and everyone of us need to return to the cross of Christ and start over.

yes, you are right about the fact that the main cause of the foul affections is exactly the system of spiritual/religious iniquity - all evils/ills come from there, that's why the repentance must primarily be in the faith

It's not just a homosexual explosion, but an explosion of all sin. There seems to be increased greed, corruption, lies, theft, and people living with no thought of anyone but them self.

Well its already happening to our nation and the world, the problem is it won't be this nations destruction but it is one of the signs of gods coming. It up there right along with people turning there backs on god and making their own laws separate from god.

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying that what you said above isn't true at all because it is what's to become of this nation .
