I wish it mattered. No one seemed to appreciate them. My parents and siblings didn't like Bible verses. The time spent making the cards that didn't impress people (or perhaps people don't say "Thank you" anymore)was hard work.

I make handmade cards too.
When I had M.E I didn't have much energy, but I was still doing some cross stitch, so I started making simple cards, or making up the free cover kits that came on cross stich magazines and sending them. I was doing this mainly for birthdays, but people were having birthdays far quicker than I could cross stitch, so I started looking around for other crafts, and discovered rubber stamping.
Then I started making cards using this craft because I was unable to get out to visit people; sending a card to say "get well soon", or "I care" or just because, became another form of ministry. Often when making a card I had someone specific in mind, and would spend time thinking about what they liked - flowers, animals etc - as well as favourite colours (if I knew). Spending so much time thinking of the person, it became quite natural to pray for them as I was making the card.
I don't do this as much at the moment, but I did send a card - actually, 2 or 3 - to every member of our church during the pandemic. Most were appreciative and thought it a great way of keeping in touch.
I notice in your OP you talked about dies; do you always use these and enjoy using them? I can't really get into them somehow; if I decide I want to use any, I buy them off ebay.
