Holy Satisfaction!

Have you ever experienced that feeling of satisfaction after you have helped someone with just about anything?!? I love that rush I get when I do...and an even more wondrous experience is when you help someone feel more "confident" (for lack of a better word) with their beliefs, with almost 3 years of being a peer minister  under my belt I had many occasions to feel that "Holy Satisfaction"   ...I experienced the most wonderful feelings when people would approach me after school in the hallways and even other places and ask me questions they had about their faith and when I could answer them in a fashion that helped them understand it was just GREAT    I also would get a similar "high" (if you will) when people would try to dissuade my beliefs and I could easily reply with a bit of "Theological Wisdom" that just left them speechless! lol I love Theological debates!!!!

Interesting that you should use the word "satisfaction."
That word is why I quit my job and went back to school. I think this kind of satisfaction is a product of walking in God's will. I'm not saying that if you are walking in His will you will feel euphorically happy all the time. But I'm saying that I believe this kind of satisfaction is a result of following God and his plan in contrast to your own plan.

the satisfaction you speak of. I've incountered once or twice. i helped my friend through a really tough time. her cousin died. i had a great opportunity to minister to her. I did. i was so happy. it felt good to do something for some one else.

Maybe its something like the fruit of the Spirit: Joy. But yknow... i feel like that even when its not about sharing faith per say. Doing things that make other people happy, edifying someone...all that glorifies God in a way I guess. Like I absolutely love it when I make someone laugh. Its the nicest feeling .... makes my day as much as his/hers. sigh...
