[Brilliand]

Lizer ran directly into the thick of the battle and stood over a fallen warrior. A demon who was about to finish the man off instead chopped a large chunk out of Lizer's chest. Lizer stood his ground and spoke to the demon, saying, "What foolishness is this, demons descending from their natural realm to fight on the physical plane? Because you have decided to fight among humans on their own terms, you are condemned to die like one. But this man will not die yet." As he spoke, the demon ripped additional chunks out of Lizer's body, causing Lizer to sink to the ground. Lizer put his hands on the fallen warrior and prayed. All of their wounds healed, sealing seamlessly in less than a second. The demon kicked Lizer away, breaking a rib, then trampled the warrior as he charged past.
Lizer helped the warrior to his feet and pushed him back into place, giving him his sword. As Lizer limped back away from the conflict, rain began to fall, dampening the fire.

The beast grabbed Lil Mis Magic with his other hand and started carrying them down the street.

"Shh." The beast growled to her. "If you want to find the lost city, then you will keep quiet..."

"Why are you'll destroying the town." Lily growled. These people are innocent.

"They are in our way of our path. Royalty is needed though to find the lost treasure, and you Lady Lily, are. I know your true identity... your husband was the one who buried it!"

Lily was struck back by that. "My husband died trying to find it." The beast grinned. Lily had to go with him for the moment, but she knew that he wasn't going to be one she wanted to be with.

"I am not after the golden eagles..." the beast said. Something a whole lot better..."

Chapter 2

The Village of Cumbria is now at war! The army have made there way to the village with iron weapons and fire! Only few people are ready to fight, many have fled and some are in hidding...

Rose saw demons, creatures in every corner. Burning everything in there way even people!
Rose got out her arrows and began to shot at demons and the Watching Stones.
"Yes!" shouted Rose, after killing a demon!

Lily watched as all sorts of creatures started in a raving terror through the town. She saw a girl kill a demon but then one was behind her...

"Watch out behind you!" Lily exclaimed. The beast carrying her, told her to be quiet, but Lily cried to Rose again, as the demon raised the shovel over her head...

 

[Donkey_Kong_JR]

Heath unsheathed his second sword and ran them both through a demon. Two more launched themselves at him. He drove his sword into one and then slashed across at the other. The demon ducked then drove his fist into Heath’s chin. Heath fell to the ground and landed with a thud. The demon pounced on Heath. He managed to get his sword through the demons side. Heath quickly got up as another demon came at him. The demon brought his sword down on Heath. Heath took a quick step to the side and the lunged at the demon driving his sword into him. “They just won’t stop coming!” Heath thought to himself as he drove his sword into another demon. He ran over to one of the demon’s he had killed to recover his sword. As he bent down to grab it, a Watching Stone flew down, driving his teeth into Heath’s left arm, almost at the same spot that he had felt the steal of a demon’s blade. Heath yelled in pain and spun his sword around, then drove it into the creatures skull. Heath retrieved his second sword, and continued to fight, although the pain in his arm was almost unbearable.

Nardrin left his tiger at a forrest near the edge of the town. People were in panic because at the war going on at Cumbria. He looked around for a logical place to find the man he was looking for. Nardrin decided to start in the bar. He walked in and saw what was expected, a few drunks here and there and a few other people enjoying some drinks. Nardrin then found the man he was looking for. He was sitting at a table in the back, every so often taking some sips of his drink. Nardrin walked over to him and sat down. He then revealed a bag from his cloak and set it on the table.

Hawk looked up at the man that sat at his table, then at the bag he had revealed. Hawk nodded signaling him to proceed.
“Hawk, I am willing to offer you 50 gold pieces to go fight at Cumbria.” The man said.
“You demons have more then enough soldiers, why would one more make any difference?” Hawk responded to the demon.
“Not for us, but for them.” was the answer.
Hawk raised an eyebrow, “You want me to fight against the demons?”
“Yes”
“Why?” Hawk answered with a stern voice.
“Consider it a matter of pride. That is all you need to know.”
Hawk stood up, “Deal.”
“Good, you shall receive your money after your task is complete.”
Hawk nodded and left the bar, heading over to the stables. After finding a good horse, he took of ridding towards Cumbria.

 

[Brilliand]

Lizer moved along the battle lines, healing fallen warriors while shielding them with his body. He healed a few demons as well, but those demons continued to behave as though wounded. After an hour of this, Lizer stepped through the battle lines and began wading about in the demon ranks, spreading confusion and causing them to attack one another.

 

[FuzzyToy]

Rose turned around and stabbed the demon with one of her arrows!
She shot down one Watching Stone and saw it fall out of the sky it fell into the fire which was still roaring, burning everything in its way!

 

[Woogyman]

St.Antony used his staff to attack demons coming at him, he swang his staff and hit a demon into its chest, the demon collapsed.
He turned around to see Rose, as he turned the demon that collapsed got out a dagger and stabbed St.Antony's leg! St.Antony took out the dagger from his leg and stabbed the demon until it died!
Soon after St.Antony collapsed onto the ground surrounded by his blood...

Rose ran over to St.Antony and watched him die, she couldn't do anything, her mind was blank, she couldn't think.

Lily saw the man dying and thought quickly. "Lil Mis Magic, sick him!" Lil Mis Magic bit the beast, and he screamed releasing Lily who ran over to St.Antony.

Lily opened her bag quickly pulling out a first aide kit.

"Hopefully Lil Mis Magic will buy me time..." Lily thought to herself, silently seeing how she could help him.

The beast threw Lil Mis Magic off and she whimpered.

"YOU ARE COMING WITH ME!" He exclaimed.

Lily growled. "I will, but not before I fix YOUR mess!" Lily said. "You want me to come willingly, call off your monsters!"

Then Lily turned back around, and realized that St. Antony was already dead. A chill went down her spine and she suddenly didn't want to go with the beast.

 

[Woogyman]

Tall, tree like creatures came out of the corners of the Village, they were seemingly made of root and bramble, its back alive with marsh-plants and its limbs formed of bark and wood. Six of them stood in the middle of the village! One of them was holding the village spy! The village spy shouted, "Bog-Lurker!" The instant he shouted, the Bog-Lurkers ran with force towards the demon army using there roots and branches to slash the demons and throwing them miles away from the village!

St.Antony had died by Rose's feet, she turned to see tall Bog-Lurkers attacking the demons with there branches and roots! She said, "St.Antony would have liked to see the Bog-Lurkers fighting for peace..."
She got out her arrows and began to shot at demons coming towards her!

 

[Brilliand]

Lizer saw an army of tangled, plant-like creatures attackign the demons. Thinking that they might have trouble tellign friend from foe, he retreated to the human lines and returned to the church.

Heath drove his sword into another demon, as he saw several bog-lurkers rush into the battle. Heath sheathed his two swords and stepped back, allowing the bog-lurkers to fight. Heath knew that the battle was over at this point, however he also knew that the demons would not give up so easily.

Hawk arrived at Cumbria just as the bog-lurkers appeared. He sighed slightly knowing that he would not get his pay for this battle. He decided to stick around and see what happened.

Nardrin got on his tiger and rode towards Cumbria. When he got there he saw the bog-lurkers fighting the demon army. He nodded slightly. “So, the humans are stronger then we have thought.” He whispered to his tiger who simply growled in response. A smile crossed Nardrin’s face, “Good, I was hoping for a battle.” With that he rode towards the demon camp, searching for Abraxas.

Still wondering about the attack, Lizer inquired within whether St. Anthony had returned. Finding he hadn't, Lizer returned to the former battle lines and began healing the wounded. In only an hour there were no wounded remaining on the field, everyone having either died, limped home or met Lizer. Deciding that his work here was done, Lizer vanished to give his brothers time in the world.

Gerrond awoke under a tree, a mile north of Cumbria, where the demon army had been hit hardest by the bog lurkers' attack. He stood and chopped down the demons near him, then began fleeing alongside the demons, not liking the looks of the monsters that were chasign them. At the first opportunity, he split off from the demons, climbing a steep slope that the bog-lurkers could have easily chased him up if they cared.
At the top of the hill, Gerrond turned and watched the demons and bog-lurkers move away from him, then thought about where he would travel to. In the south he felt sure he would find either a ruined town or a bog-lurker swamp, neither of which he felt like visiting, and to the north would be more towns ruined by the demon escape. To the west he would meet a mountain chain before anything else, so he headed east, in the direction of Menae.

Lily swallowed hard not really knowing what to do. Then she saw the beast take out a sword and approach the girl who was attacking a demon.

"Don't!!!!" Lily exclaimed.

 

[Woogyman]

The number of demons began to decrease, few demons feld to the South and others continued attacking!
Only two Watching Stones were patrolling the sky, the other was shot down by an arrow!
The demon army became weaken and decreased in size, the battle for Cumbria was nearly over...

"I know they don't need me, but I feel like helping anyway," Andol Kravers thought.

He disappeared in a flash; then reappeared in front of some demons. They rushed at him, and with a wave of his staff, boulder-sized hail dropped on their heads, crushing them.
