And what are sorcerers commonly depicted as casting their spells with? A wand of course!

There are a lot clever word meanings used in the book, so it could be a reference to hollywood, but you would have to factor in the phoenix feather somehow because that was the magical part. Actually there is a lot of discussion forums about the potter books. One had this to say about the wand in the connection of materials used.

The point, in my opinion, is that the wands are evenly matched (twin phoenix core) yet apposite in composition (yew/death v. holly/life), just like their owners.

It makes sense to me the whole construct of the book is good vs. evil. And what if Dumbledore comes back to life in the next one? Will Christians be watching closely to see if he is a type of Christ?
As SDA's we already have prominent leaders who will say that Joseph (Jacob's son) is a type of Christ. He certainly would not be the first type of Christ in a literary work. On top of that if evil wins in the end in these books, she is really going to cut down on her future sells. Though she is a billionaire so she could afford it.

I did not miss your point I addressed your opening thesis. But it is true if you had just posted that hollywood is not the a great moral example I would agree as would likely most people who are part of Hollywood.

You may remember from English classes the importance of the beginning of statements. As you could tell by the section of your quoted material that is what I was responding too. I did not find the criticism of Hollywood to be of enough significance to reply as there is nothing new or original in deriding Hollywood.

Yes, his post on hollywood is not original. But not everyone on this forum knows everything. And in my opinion it adds some value to a slow forum like this than the cynical posts I've seen you made here and there.
