Many priests and nuns will ramble on what is holiness? They don't know smack about holiness, with their comfortable living--having a roof over their heads, 3 meals a day. They often tend towards virtues when preaching holiness. This religion has been hijacked by cardinals and bishops and popes--rich men if I ever seen them, with their endless supplies of church wealth. I do have to hand it to them--they do know where holiness exists, in poverty.
You want to know what is really holy? The man who spends his life in a lake of fire; and it is a lake of fire as a man is forced into solitude and eventually homelessness. Like they say, a man must walk through fire to be saved. What does that mean? I would take it it would mean a lifetime of misfortune and scorn. Never making ends meet.
The priest and the nun have it lucky. They sit on the border of comfort and sorrow. At least a priest has someone to talk to. The poor righteous man has not a soul to confide in. It is the poor man who will shine in the day of his end. While the rest of you wallow in your self-pity, wondering why does this poor man have such a beautiful soul and I don't. I bare witness of the poor and their mishaps. Laugh and play now swine, because we will dine and feast in your misery when the end comes.
