I really wish that my local Nazarene church wasn't tearing itself apart right now. After the drama that I'm going through in my UM church, I'm just not prepared to join a church that is splitting over a female pastor. I think female pastors are great. If they settle down and learn to accept her, I will probably join that church.

Awww, rats. I was hoping that you'd have a good experience there.

Awww, rats. I was hoping that you'd have a good experience there.

So was I. But, within 2 minutes of walking in, I was "warned" by two people that they have a woman pastor. When I said that I like woman pastors, they just kinda snorted and walked off. I have two friends who are members of that church, so when the people start to lighten up and accept her, I'll go back for another visit.
