Just remember in times of trials when your faith comes under attack and you feel that you have let go of God, that is the time when the Lord holds on to you.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Did you realize that when your heart is broken, the Lord is especially close to you? That's his promise to you, and furthermore he says he will save you. It's not going to last forever; he has something good planned for you.
Again in Psalm 147:3 we are told that "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." If you will go to God with your pain, he will heal it and bind it up so that it won't be unbearable. The heart of Jesus was broken for you, and God's heart was broken as he gave his only Son to die. We serve a wounded Savior, one who has suffered and understands the broken heart. But the great news is, he is also our Great Physician and he is the one who can heal your broken heart.
Thank You Lord for Your promise to be close to the brokenhearted, that You will save those who are crushed in spirit. Lord, please be with the brokenhearted, please minister to them in personal and mighty ways. Dear Father, please rekindle their hope, empower them as they hold on to their faith. Pour out your Spirit with power, strengthening them - lift up their hearts. Help them find a renewed sense of hope in your presence. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

1. Realize that God is with you!

God cares. Nahum 1:7 The Lord is good. He protects those who trust Him in times of trouble. God wants to help us. Hebrews 4:16 Whenever we are in need, we should go bravely before the throne of our merciful God. There we will be treated with kindness, and we will find help.
2. Release the hurt.

This had made me feel so much better! 
What has happened is that a brother in the Spirit has set himself against me to be my enemy over one petty mistake I made (which is unBiblical, and I told him that, but neither he or his parents will listen to me), and it has crushed my heart and left me feeling scared and confused with why they would look upon me as being a vile person. I mean, I'm just a teen. Of course I'm going to act stupid from time to time. And I thought they forgave me like they said they did. Why am I the enemy then?
Please pray?

Colossians 3:13 Thank You Lord that You forgive us. Please help the people involved in this situation bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances they may have against one another. Help them to forgive as You forgive.
1 John 4:18 Thank You Lord that there is no fear in love, that perfect love drives out fear. Lord fill these relationships with Your perfect love, without fear - no fear of being judged, criticized, controlled, abandoned, rejected or shamed.
Luke 6:45 Thank You Lord that they will be able to speak with their mouths what fills their hearts. Lord guard their words as they speak to each other, help their words build their relationships with each other in You. Please help each grow from this situation.
1 Cor 1:9 God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful. Lord please comfort 'the thirdlink', let Your healing touch be felt where healing is needed. Help 'the thirdlink' to know that You are faithful - You are always there and will not let 'the thirdlink' down. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
