I've been a christian for 3 years and I have learned alot about Christ and the way of living. Recently, I got in a huge argument with my father and now we are not talking. We went to a Angels Baseball game yesturday and he is around 40 years old. The point is he is married and I think he commits adultry when he stares at younger girls in a lustful way. I confronted him and he denied it and he even used God's name. I cried and let it out because it hurts me to see a man I admire do this. I need a prayer for God to open my heart and forgive him but I don;t know if he'll change. When he was upset he was like Satan you can see the anger in his eyes. He pushed me off the coach and said, "GET OUT I DON'T NEED TO HEAR YOU CRYING IN MY FACE."

I'm sorry that you are going through all of this. I'll pray for you and your father.
Is your father a Christian by chance? I just want to make sure either way so I know how to best pray for him. Well, hang in there. I'm sure there are other's who are praying for you but haven't said so.

I feel so hurt when I see him and I don't know if I am over reacting to this but I've been holding it in too long and he is a christian. He is my mentor and I've always followed his footsteps. I don't know if I should say sorry since I didn't do anything. I want to forgive him and I will eventually but what if he does it again. It's embarssing when he looks at girls like that because I am trying to set a christ like example for non-believers.

Lots of older guys and some women feel, 'its okay to look so long as you don't touch.' While it isn't right it could be worse. At this time in your life you realize your father is not perfect. If this is the worst thing he does it may not be worth making an issue of it, especially if he knows its wrong. I could be way off base but its just my opinion on the matter.

Thanks for praying for me and my father. I am glad that I am part of the family of believers. I am not good with talking with people, any idea on how I should talk to him? We haven't been talking since Monday. Thanks again. I hope things work out between us because he's my father.
