Grail smiles then steps into the the passage. "You want to head towards any of the houses? Or do you want classroom shortcuts?" He points at the crests over different paths leading away from where they are.

"Hmm, I would love to see some of those classroom shortcuts..." Elizabeth tilted her in thought and then decided, "Yeah, it would be really wicked if I could see some of those shortcuts. So, are you up to showing all of them to me." She had a huge grin on her face and a sly look in her eyes.

"Okay then you lead the way, I'll correct you if uo go wrong and I'll open the shortcuts as we go." Grail grins

"Hmm, this way looks intersting." Elizabeth started walking through the opening to her left. "So, what way did I choose? Where are we going now? How did you find out about the passages? When did you find out about..." She started firing off questions leaving Grail almost no time to answer.

"Hmm, this way looks intersting." Elizabeth started walking through the opening to her left. "So, what way did I choose?"
He smiles. "Potions..."
"Where are we going now?"
"Potions..."
"How did you find out about the passages?"
"I fell in o..."
"When did you find out about..." She started firing off questions leaving Grail almost no time to answer. Slowly Grail grins and pushes one of the carvings ahead opening another passage.

Elizabeth stops. "Sorry," she says giving Grail a timid smile, "I tend to do that when I get overly-excited. So, let me ask you again, how and when did you find out about the passages?" She smiles again and starts walking through the passage Grail just opened up. "Oh, and if you don't mind me asking again, where are we going now?" She gives that same timid smile while waiting for Grail to answer.

Elizabeth stops. "Sorry," she says giving Grail a timid smile, "I tend to do that when I get overly-excited."
"No problem."
"So, let me ask you again, how and when did you find out about the passages?" She smiles again and starts walking through the passage Grail just opened up. "Oh, and if you don't mind me asking again, where are we going now?" She gives that same timid smile while waiting for Grail to answer.
Slowly he obliges. "I fell into an entrance in the floor then explored until I found my way out but I've been looking into the secrets more and more." Then shrugging he continues. "I missed one lesson luckily so it stays my secret... Well and yours. Anyway we're heading towards Snape's room." He looks aound. "Tickle that gargoyle over there will you then walk down the way it opens."

Professor Zaerr was swiftly walking down the hall, rolled up parchment in hand when he heard it: voices. Who in the world could be up at this hour? He though to himself. I must keep hidden.

He slowly crept up to a nearby classroom and hopped inside of it. As he peeked his head out, he saw them: two students. What should I do? Zaerr was confused. He wasn't sure if he should reveal himself; how suspicious would it look if the boy and girl started asking him questions that he wasn't able to answer. Just do it, there's nothing you should be afraid of! You're a teacher for Heaven's sake!

Professor Zaerr strolled casually out of the corner, "hem hem?" He coughed loudly enough for the two students to whip around with wide, frightened eyes.

"Hem, hem," Elizabeth hears someone cough from behind them.
She jumps around so quickly that she accidentally knocks into Grail and falls flat on the floor. "Uh, hello there professor. We were just..." She looks to Grail and gives him a pleading look, trying to ask him to help her. I really hope that Grail's got a good explanation because if I keep rambling on like I am, we are sure to get detentions. She didn't bother trying to get up because she was too frightened to do anything at the moment. I guess my lack of courage shows why I didn't get into Gryffindoor, she thinks.

Grail helps Elizabeth up then turns to the professor. "Hi professor sorry about being around at this time but I was showing my friend how to got to her lessons so she wouldn't be late. Actually professor I probally can show you a shortcut to your office if want. By the way what subjec do you teach?" Grail smiles at the professer. This doesn't normally happen to me, mentally he shrugs, oh well.

Strength Mavis! Don't lose it, stern face.
"If you had been listening during Professor Dumbledore's announcement, you would know which subject I teach!" Professor Zaerr said, stern face in tow. "And there is no excuse for being out this late. Shortcuts are, as I am aware, not part of Hogwarts curriculum. Therefore, I suggest you get to bed now, because you will be having a late night tomorrow; lots of homework to do after you spend detention with me!" Ooh, not bad Zaerr.

Elizabeth lets out a short amount of breath and gives their new professor an astounded look. "I guess that's our cue Grail. Come on, let's just go." She starts to tug on his arm in the direction of her common room. Well, at least I had fun. Detention shouldn't be so bad with a new teacher. And at least I won't be alone... She looks at Grail, waiting for him to respond.

Grail smiles softly. "Well then professor I look forwards to it, I can't wait to see how you run your curriculum." Slowly he walks out of the passageway then turns round and looks at the professor. "You know the doorway won't stay open for much longer." The he spins round and walks with Elizabeth to her common room.

The two finally arrive at the opening to the Ravenclaw common room. Elizabeth stops in front of it and turns to Grail. "Hey, thanks for showing me some of the secret passage ways. It was fun. Hopefully, we can continue it some other time." She starts heading towards the common room door when she stops and turns back to him, "Oh, and sorry for getting you a detention. I suppose it was mostly my fault since I was the one that wanted to see the passage ways in the first place..." She gives him a small, apologetic smile. "Well, goodnight." She turns and starts to walk to her common room door.

Professor Zaerr watched as the two students walked back down the corridor.
He quickly started on his way again mumbling "teenagers" in the process.

Grail smiles lightly. "It's no problem besides I'm not going to bed I'm going to the common room and I'll practice some spells." Turning softly after Elizabeth says goodnight he smiles. "Night." He walks along the corridor then turns the corner.

After arriving in the common room, Elizabeth went up to her dorm room, changed, and went to bed. I wonder how our first official day of school is going to be. I'm looking forward to Zaerr's class... And with that last thought, she drifted to sleep.

Quickly Grail arrives back at his common room and grabs a chair, he flicks his wand and summons a butterbeer then turns to his spells.

Aileen is lieing in her bed unable to sleep...she's thinking about home and her parents and wonders what the first day in the new school might bring for her.....
