Hobbies you have...

Hey this is Josh I was wondering what kinda hobbies you guys have... As for me I've got too many... To start I play military themed strategy board wargames, I go grave hunting which is I look up the grave sites of notable people in my area and take pics of their grave sites and post the pics on my website... I will admit it is a morbid hobby but it has to do with researching history... Surfing the net, and chatting online... Reading books on military history... Thats pretty much it...

I surf the internet, I collect and read graphic novels, I collect religious books....

I love everything aviation, and even hold a private pilots license. But with us spending so much time on the road with our ministry, I have had to settle with simulation flying lately. Our tour bus has a great computer for sim flying with Microsoft flight sim. I also love model railroading but can't take that on the road either so I have gotten into building model roadroads via Microsoft train simulator as well.


I am new to this forum stuff so I hope this finds someone interested in these things as well.

Hey Reved... I'm a pilot too. Tomorrow I'm actually going to be taking my instrument check ride.

My hobbies include R/C airplanes, R/C trucks, flight sims (every kind of flight sim. lol) playing the drums, and collecting as many unique aviation antiques as I can. Oh yes, and I have a ton of airplane models that I enjoy building.

Too much interest, too little time, and no money. lol

Good luck on the check ride. I am / was only rated VFR myself. We used to own a 1954 Piper Tripacer which my oldest son first few at age of seven. He now is 23 and also has his private and has taken schooling as an A and P.

With my current meds for health I am grounded as far as class 3 medicals are concerned. So for now it's flight sims only. But we are building a full scale 767 flight deck simulator in the attic of our garage. Too much time very little money too on our hands also.

We have a loft in our house thats everything aviation from models to old props and jep sectionals. Of course the wife refuses to dust in there in fear of her life.

What comic books do you read? I haven't been to the comic book store in a couple of years because I got frustrated with poor story lines and the cost of comics in general. I used to read Amazing Spider-Man, Hulk, Avengers, Fantastic Four, JLA, Flash, Ultimate Spider-Man, and many more. I keep saying I'm going to swing by the comic book store one day and pick up a few titles but I never do.

I like military stuff. Hope to check out a career in the Air Force and I play airsoft. Airsoft has the same concept has paintball except it revolves around military simulations and stuff. More realistic weapons, more tactical stuff, reenactments, etc. etc.

My second favorite passion is photography! I got a good camera and a sizeable amount of digital pictures. As well as a large volume of books on the subject.

I still do a bunch of other things:
