I posted before about a friend cutting herself now she wants to kill herself and I had tried my best to keep her from it and I have no idea if she commited suicide or not.

Its just...she normally is signed in on MSN even when shes in school (I got out a month ago). And just last night we were talking and she said that theres no reason for her to live except for me and her mom.

And I really need help praying for her...though she did say she was cheering up a little which is good but...I'm scared that she went through and killed herself yet. I've been praying with all my might and also for alot of other people and now...I'm getting scared.

Contact a responsible adult. Your friend needs this as well as your prayers. There are many caring people who can help her, but only if they know of her needs can they do any good. I pray strong words of protection for her and also that you might have courage and wisdom to do what is right in this matter.

Lord be with Mikira's friend and that she will seek help and guidance. And that you will uplift her and that she will find counseling as well as medical help asap. Praying for her and watching out and over for her. In thy name, amen.

I'm a counsellor and have had many clients with this type of problem, I'm not sure wether I have spoke to you before about your friend as there has been many on the site who have gone through the same, and I always try to help particularly with this kind of problem as its my job. Although your friend says shes not feeling as low it sounds like shes still depressed. Is she on medication? Although she may be saying she wants to kill herself, it is just an emotional feeling, but in the back of her mind she knows that she wouldn't want to hurt her mum. I honestly feel she won't do this, if she was she wouldn't mention it out loud, suicide tendencies or actions as she mentions, if she really wanted to she wouldn't have mentioned it she would have done it. The poor girl is actually crying out for help in the only way possible. Try and chat with her Mum or an elder from church and see if they can support you in helping her or getting her to see a doctor. Also when people are feeling low there motivation goes, so that will be why she may not be going on MSN. I can assure you she will be safe but needs someone to talk to.

Lord I pray for Mikira's friend, I ask Lord you'll remove all the depression and thoughts of harming herself, I pray you'll direct her for help to the right person, and bring Joy from you back in her life. Amen

I am praying for her. I know how hard it can be-the world and everything. Im trying to stop self harm alltogether but it takes a little thing to become big to myself which starts up again. God Bless you for trying and been a loving friend. I will pray for her and for you.
