The way I see it is this; an action can either promote God's values, or it can insult those values. If it insults them (this would cover adultery, sexual promiscuity, etc) then repent and cease to do it.

Great. Its good to have opinions, but everyone has them. However,What does scripture require?

CF is funny, there are many professed Christians here who would give a pass to fornication. Scripture strictly forbids it.

And yet virtually no Christians follow what they preach. They still sleep around, have sex with their girlfriends and still lust after the opposite sex.

There's a huge difference for people that commit fornication, and then repent of it, and those that willfully engage in it and follow their own deluded interpretation that the Bible does not condemn it.
