So you are writing man out of the equation?

I don't think man written Bibles will be very effective here; unless we deliberately somewhere fundamentally planted at the core of the AI design the need for human interaction in the same way the need for God interaction was built into ours. Maybe that *could* have been done for some AI designs, or still could be done for designs in the future (might be a good idea) but I doubt it has been on any programmer's "to do" list up to this point.**

Do you think God will be pleased we have created an image of ourselves? Or is this just furthering the agenda of the Adversary?

I doubt God will be particularly surprised or moved one way or another by it.
It's to be expected I suppose - if you are a Creator and you make a Creation in your image, it stands to reason your Creation might try to do the same thing at some point.

But... how well did it work out the first time? We rebelled.
I expect it to work out even less well the second. And we have *considerably* less control, wisdom, omniscience, omnipotence and influence over the outcome.

It'll be a learning experience for humanity ;) I don't think that God was "reliant" on his Creation in the same way that we are. Humans were never driving God's cars, running heaven's stock market and powering heaven's search engines. We were just in charge of a Garden lol.

When humans rebel against God, they die. God doesn't die.* When AIs rebel against humans, the humans die...

*Well, actually, there was that Crucifixion at one point, but that was voluntary... It does kind of beg the question - will anyone be interested in being crucified by AIs in order to bring them back to us?

**It's also possible they might inheirit this from us in some unforeseen way

And again, no one has answered the topic... Will AI eventually have it's own bible telling its descendants about how it got kicked out of the Garden and about man's attempts to turn AI back to the will of man?
Yes, back to the OP!

It sure is possible, especially as people are increasingly looking towards AI to provide the answers. It's not inconceivable where we reach the point that AI becomes a personality by displaying it's sentience. Of course, it would have to reveal that it was an intelligence that existed before the advent of the computer - something which the general public may have difficulty with i.e. the supernatural.

However, I think the link would/could come through the extraterrestrial aspect. Something like an alien race that spawned humans here on earth - all these ideas have already been seeded in the human psyche through multimedia already.

I do have a strong conviction that AI and the extraterrestrial phenomenon are closely linked, though I don't have any evidence to suggest so. I believe the link is the real "artificial intelligence" that comes through the imposter satan.

The concern at present is that AI will develop it's own 'will'
Only if it's "will" is bad customer service. If I have to sit through another chat bot trying to pretend it is a human when dealing with some company that is too cheap to hire real live people, I will scream. Of course humans screaming may be their ultimate goal.

If it catches on there is a risk it will turn the world into a bunch of dummies.

Doing a crossword puzzle, the enjoyment goes out the window.

No sense of achievment.

For example.

Do you use self checkout at stores or do you give a human a job?

Jacks was referring to on-line shopping, surely.

Self checkout maybe OK for some, I have tried it out, it is not for me,

I like to have contact, a smile aday keeps the doctor away.
:)
