'Smart person' Joe Hanson gives us a fun, inside scoop on 'why' seven days are in a week....

And because I love studying ancient history, whether it's that of Sumeria or Babylon, or that of Timbuktu, I'm posting it here just because I can.

Phil I am afraid I have to disagree. The truth is there are 8 days a week. Its a mystery but if the Beatles said it this must be true. Sorry lol I had to.

Don't forget the 7 churches of Revelation that were in Asia Minor. Good video and theres a lot that goes into making a week 7 days.

It seems the ancient peoples looked to the skies and understand nature and its cycles really well. Sort of a mixture of science with the astronomical events they witnessed and how this related to the world and their religious beliefs.

As though this was meant to be. 7 was the lucky number because it was reflected in the beliefs of sky gods, math and natures astronomical cycles.
