Peace in Christ.
Those who will follow Jesus shall not walk in darkness but shall have the light of life.
Joh 8:12 KJV
(12) Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
We are then made the light of this dark world with that light of Christ.....the light of life.
We then cannot be hid from this world as those people on the outside (who are sitting in deep spiritual darkness) will just merely look at us and see His glorious light. The “morning star” will break forth in their hearts just by our mere presence. They shall see His glory by merely looking at our face (which will reflect His glorious light into their darkened hearts).
Mat 5:14 KJV
(14) Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
We are a chosen generation who obtain His mercy. He calls us out of darkness into His marvelous (to be marveled at by the people of this world) light.
Our Father is the Father of lights. We become His lights in this dark world of which the people in darkness will see and marvel at and praise the Father in Heaven.
1Pe 2:9-10 KJV
(9) But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
(10) Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
The times of refreshing shall come from the “presence”…that is, the VIEW…of the Lord. We are to be glorified in this world with the presence of the Lord…His glory. He glorifies His saints as the people of this dark world will see us (His appearing glory over us) and praise Him.
Act 3:19-20
(19) Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence (VIEW) of the Lord;
(20) And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
The “times of refreshing” shall come as the outside people of this world will come to our light and kings to the brightness of our rising. The “forces of the nations” shall come unto us…for the presence of the Lord glorifies us. We become “lights” to them of which they are attracted to. It will then be a different world as they will be very receptive toward us because the Lord will glorify us.
Isa 60:3-12 KJV
(3) And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
(4) Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.
(5) Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.
(6) The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the LORD.
(7) All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.
(8) Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?
(9) Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.
(10) And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.
(11) Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.
(12) For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.
He shall come to be glorified in His saints. His presence in us glorifies us in this world…and the world will “admire” us as they shall see His light in us and be attracted to it. The glory of God appears over us…and they shall perceive it as it cannot be hid.
2Th 1:10 KJV
(10) When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
We are to be the “city” that cannot be hid. The glory of God appears over us. The glory of God does lighten the "city" and the Lamb is the light thereof. The nations of them that are saved shall walk in the light of it and the kings of this earth do bring their glory and honor into it. They will be attracted to us because of His marvelous light.
Rev 21:23-26 KJV
(23) And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
(24) And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
(25) And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
(26) And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
We are to seek this glory (the appearing glory of God) and honor to be revealed through us to the outside world.
Rom 2:7 KJV
(7) To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
Glory and honor are in His presence…that is, FACE. We are to be the glorified “public face” of Him now in this world so that the “kindreds of the people” of this earth give glory and honor to His name. They will rejoice at the "presence of the LORD"....that He glorifies us with and they will perceive it by just our mere presence. The "Earth" are the outside people of this dark world. They will rejoice just by our presence for the presence of God is with us. His glory appears over us....and they will perceive it and their hearts will rejoice in our presence.
1Ch 16:27-34 KJV
(27) Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.
(28) Give unto the LORD, ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
(29) Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
(30) Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.
(31) Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The LORD reigneth.
(32) Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein.
(33) Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the LORD, because he cometh to judge the earth.
(34) O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.
