This is definately going to be interesting. Who knows what all we can get into! This really sounds like my highschool. Just add about 100 cowboys and cowgirls to the rest of us city kids and you got Springtown Highschool reincarnated. LOL

make the most of it. You only get to go through highschool once. I have many things that I regret I did or didn't do. I think that is what most people miss. That you can actually regret not doing something. Like not making friends with the loner who sat at lunch by themselves, or not standing up for what you believed in even if it was unpopular at the time.

Oh, and as a former football player...(turned mathalete[State Math team baby yeah!!!! })

I would say to remember that also some of the things that seem really important at the moment (like playing sports to fit in) could really not be so important as you think. Take it from me, sports glories fade, the choices you make stick with you for your life.In short, try to live a life with no regrets. make decisions based on your convictions not on what others expect or pressure you to do.

Hmm, I always get over detailed in these character profiles. I tried to cut this one down, *sigh* oh well here's my character.

Name: Laina Trevors
Age: 14
Gender: female
Grade: Sophomore
Group: Cheerleader, for now
Quote: "Yes ma'am."

Appearance: Make-up and hair always perfectly done. Dresses in clothes and jewelry that reveal their expense more than her style or the latest fashion trends. All of this because her mother makes her look nice. Dark blonde hair artificially curled, shining blue eyes.

Personality: Quiet but only because she has to focus so hard on her studies. Desperate to make good grades to please her mom. Struggles between pleasing her mom and finding her own place in life.

Bio: Her mother got Laina into Kindergarten early by showing how brilliant she was. She made Laina rehearse this “show” for months beforehand so that she could get in. Her mother told her “don’t mess things up. I told them you were very smart, don’t embarrass me by proving otherwise.” Laina isn’t any smarter than the average student so she has to study ever spare moment so that she doesn’t disappoint her mother who thinks of Laina more as a trophy to brag about than as a daughter. Her mother goes around bragging to all her friends that her daughter is a genius. Her mother also made her join the cheerleading team so she could have even more to brag about to her friends. She didn’t get to do any cheers during games because of her age last year, but she is allowed to this year.
Last year Laina’s mother made her enroll in advanced classes even though Laina knew she wasn’t smart enough for them. She ended up making Bs in a couple of classes, the lowest grades she had ever made. Her mother was furious and tried to explain to her friends that it was just the change in schools and pressures of being a cheerleader that caused such problems. Now Laina has to make straight A’s or risk bringing absolute shame to her mother.
