Dear brothers and sisters-in-Christ,
I reckon I need a lot of prayer! For starters, I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, and my parents were unsuccessful in 2012 in taking me with them to California. But praise God that's changing now in 2020, since I've been granted my USA Immigrant Visa! Just waiting now for my passport to be returned to me with the Visa.
I think Asperger's Syndrome explains a lot of things that are wrong in my life, including the fact that I'm a widower at 44 years old! I aim to be the nicest possible Christian guy any lady could possibly meet, never even whispering the word "divorce" to anyone, they've all dumped me! I haven't given up trying to meet my future wife, but I'm constantly hitting brick walls!
Browsing the Internet, I found a whole mountain of support for people on the autism spectrum so I circulated an e-mail to a number of people who are specialists and professionals on the autism spectrum. A complimentary consultation via Skype has also been set up with one such lady based in the U.K.
Looking forward to my new life in California, and the help and support that I knew I'd get there, I was completely shattered and devastated when I heard about COVID-19 hitting Palm Desert, CA and people putting themselves in quarantine - really close to my new home! I began to lament that I'd never make some new friends, let alone meet my future wife! It's already very difficult for me to socialize, make friends and maintain an intimate relationship as it is! It felt like every single opportunity for me to meet people in-person has been taken away from me for a very long time, or the rest of my life (God forbid!)
So I want to try and make new friends in SoCal and elsewhere using Skype and other video chat software. My Skype ID is roymnel, and my time zone is GMT +2 since I have not yet left South Africa. Please e-mail me on roymnel@gmail.com or on this website if you'd like to chat; you're more than welcome.
Thanks for your prayers and God Bless you all!
Roy Nel.
