CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

High ~ Getting some help from my Approaches to English Studies professor in writing my 8-to-10-page paper. I finally feel confident in what I'm writing and I actually can't wait to hand it in on Wednesday!

High: I finally have gotten some job offers and I hope that one or two of them pull through! I have been very down in the dumps and such the last couple of weeks since being laid off from my last job, and this is an answer to many prayers!!

High: Flying a 1947 Areonca Champion. Amazing little airplane and a blast to fly. It's fun to put all of the modern technology behind you and re-learn to fly the old fashioned way--by feel.
Low: Two students this afternoon collided while playing outside during lunch, requiring one to go see the nurse. Man, that must have hurt! Head first into each other!

High: i schedule guitar lessons for the entire month. i've been playing since i was 12, but i've been in a rut for many years. that will be coming to an end. i'm really excited about it.
Low: today i found out that my mom's man was a loser, who used her, the woman that he was living with that my mother didn't know about and said his mother died to get affection, and attention. i'd love to see the guy face to face.

High: Went flying again, did 8 landings in the Champ. Only scared myself once. Learning to fly taildraggers is quite an adventure, even with 240 hours!

High: Talked to my best friend and we're going to a hockey game together Saturday!

Today was a day of extremes.
High: I received my tailwheel endorsment which means I'm able to fly airplanes with a tailwheel (as opposed to having a nose wheel, which is easier to control on the ground) with passengers today.
Low: 1 year ago today my girlfriends dad passed away.
