• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I have been there many times. When I get like that I would just pull out the Bible and pray because at the time know one knew I was bipolar and my husband wanted to put me in the psyc ward so I never spoke a word to him, often times I would take a shower just so I could cry because I don't believe in crying so I didn't want anyone to see this weekness in me. I wish I had some sort of helpful advice to give you but all I can do is pray for you

I know how you feel, I'm kinda going through the same thing right now myself. I worry though, since my doctors have me taking so much stuff, I don't know if the feelings are coming from me or if they're drug-induced. Either way, know you're not alone and that it will get better.

You're not alone. Lots of us feel that way, whether we admit it or not. I hope that things look up for you soon... I know they will, I just don't know when. Praying for you. In the meantime, keep posting here for support. Find some distractions that work for you - read your Bible or another engrossing book, seek out friends/family to talk with (whether about problems or not), listen to music, pray.
