Everyone who is of the truth hears the voice of the Lord who comes to "awaken" His church up from its “sleep”
He comes to give us an understanding….giving us the Light of the knowledge of God. He gives us the Bread of Heaven….the hidden manna… to eat of.
Eph 5:14 KJV
(14) Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
Love not “sleep”. When we are “asleep”, we are asleep to doing His righteousness. We are to open our eyes (awake to doing His righteousness) so that we may be satisfied with “bread”….the Bread of Heaven…the hidden manna.
If we continue to “sleep” (behaving in envy, strife, contentions, wrath, etc), we shall come to “poverty”…that is, be cast out. We shall not be able to enter in to understand the mysteries of the kingdom.
Pro 20:13 KJV
(13) Love not sleep, lest thou come to poverty; open thine eyes, and thou shalt be satisfied with bread.
It is the spiritual "morning" as the "night is far spent" and the "day is at hand". We are to "awake".
We are to hear His words of spirit and life and “awake” to His righteousness…..casting off the works of darkness: envy, strife, contentions, wrath, etc. We are to put on good works...the armor of light... toward the hearing of His voice.
Rom 13:12 KJV
(12) The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
If we can overcome, He shall give us to eat of the “hidden manna”. Our spiritual hunger shall be satisfied.
Rev 2:17 KJV
(17) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
If we show that we serve Him by doing well towards the hearing of the Word of Truth, we shall be able to “eat”. We shall rejoice.
But the unbelievers who will react with evil shall be “hungry” and will be “ashamed” of His words instead of rejoicing. They will not eat of it but will stay hungry. They will not rejoice at the hearing of His words.
Isa 65:13 KJV
(13) Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed:
He speaks to us the words of life and spirit ….the Bread that comes down from Heaven… so that we may hear and understand and BELIEVE on Him and have eternal life now in this earth.
Joh 6:47 KJV
(47) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
We must immediately “eat” it when we hear it….not refusing to eat of it in unbelief. We must hear and believe in it….ingesting it fully….rather than refusing to eat and turn away from it in unbelief.
Joh 6:48-51 KJV
(48) I am that bread of life.
(49) Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
The Bread comes down from Heaven to this earth.
If a man “eats” of it, he shall live forever and not die…..as His eternal life will be made manifest in our mortal flesh. It is His manifest flesh that gives us life.
Notice that He doesn’t say anything about mortally dying and going up to Heaven as this Bread comes down from Heaven for us on this planet earth to eat here so that we may have His eternal life now.
(50) This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
(51) I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
This “hidden manna” is the hidden wisdom of the kingdom of God. It is the hidden truth as it is has not been preached by the multitudes of false prophets who are currently preaching “another gospel” and not the good news that has been “hid” from the eyes of their understanding.
2Co 4:3-5 KJV
(3) But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
(4) In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
(5) For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
“Manna” means “what is it?” It is the Word of Truth...the Bread sent down from Heaven. What is truth?
Joh 18:38 KJV
(38) Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.
The manna is the Bread of Heaven…the Word of truth… that the Lord gives us to “eat” so that we may have eternal life and not die.
Exo 16:15-19 KJV
(15) And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat.
It is to be eaten....to be received FULLY within us.... according to the measure of our faith.
Some gathered more and some gathered little….but God accepts all according to their measure of faith He has given ….no matter if we eat much or little.
We are to eat all of it….immediately according to the measure of our faith that He has given to us.
(16) This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, Gather of it every man according to his eating, an omer for every man, according to the number of your persons; take ye every man for them which are in his tents.
(17) And the children of Israel did so, and gathered, some more, some less.
(18) And when they did mete it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his eating.
The main thing is not to “leave of it” WHILE (not until) “morning”. We are to eat of it all to the measure of our faith allows and not leave it off.
The “morning” is the time our Lord comes to “awaken” us from our “sleep”. It is the “dawning” of the Light of the knowledge of God within our once darkened hearts.
Some will not eat of it out of unbelief. They will not hear but will instead argue with it with evil words.
(19) And Moses said, Let no man leave of it till the morning. (WHILE MORNING)
By the “leave of it”, it bred worms and smelled.
In other words, pride and wrath motivate evil utterances out of those who do not believe. Evil words “smell” bad to the Lord when they come out of the mouth in unbelief of the Bread of Heaven.
“Bred” = Hebrew word “rûm” = to be high, lofty.
“worms” = from primitive root word “yaw-lah'” which means “to blurt or utter inconsiderately: - devour.”

(20) Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and stank: and Moses was wroth with them.
Some will “murmur” at it….that is, grumble. Who can hear it?
Joh 6:60-61 KJV
(60) Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?
(61) When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?
MANY of His disciples will turn away and will walk no more with Him. They will not put on Christ....putting on good deeds.
The true Christ, the true Son of the LIVING God, has the words of eternal life. The false prophets who are preaching a false Christ (who shall come someday) do not preach His words of life and spirit.

(66) From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
(67) Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?
(68) Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
(69) And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.
We shall hear the truth of the gospel….the good news of our mortal salvation in this earth (and not after we “die and go to Heaven”).
Jesus does not delay His coming (which the false prophets all preach that He does delay) as His eternal life shall manifest in our outer mortal flesh in the here-and-now. We won’t die from this earth as we await that manifestation of the life of Christ through our mortal flesh.
The hidden wisdom is hid from the eyes of the understanding of the false prophets….the “princes of this age”….who rule everything in their church gatherings.
There is a “war” going on as the dragon makes war with those who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Satan’s “ministers” are those “princes” of this age. They are his soldiers so-to-speak who assist in the “war”….who are actively cutting off the eternal life of Jesus from being made manifest in this earth.
They are the people of the prince that “shall come” someday. They preach that their “jesus” shall come some day in the future and are not looking for the true Jesus coming in the flesh…our mortal flesh in the here-and-now. They preach “another gospel” and not the true gospel.
The Messiah is cut off...His eternal life is not being made manifest in this earth because of the false prophets.
Dan 9:26 KJV
(26) And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
It’s been 2000 years and their version of “Jesus” has not manifested yet…..but His coming is always just around the corner supposedly.
Meanwhile, their congregations perish from this earth without the understanding of the true good news. Their mortal bodies….the “sanctuary” of the Holy Spirit…is being destroyed.
The princes of this age “come to nought”….they come to nothing. Their end is destruction….the destruction of their own mortal bodies…..because they have no understanding of the gospel which is hid from their eyes. They also lead multitudes with them down the broad way to their mortal destruction.

If the princes of this age knew the wisdom of God, they would not crucify the Lord of glory. He is the “Lord of glory” for He has already been raised from the dead in glory so that we might have His eternal life now.
