CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I think the only "hidden" forums are staff forums, so you'd have to apply to be on staff, and a site supporter forum, so you'd have to become a site supporter to see that one. Oh and there's also a Pet Rescuer forum too I believe, and to join that one you'll have to become a Pet Rescuer.
There might be more, but that's all I can think of. I think there's also one for the amoury team.

I think that there are also forums that you can start to write and pre-view your own posts, and ones for talking with staff, and between staff as MissC said. I'll see if I can find a link for you.

Just start a thread with the person you want to talk to. Post random messages. Wait a few weeks until the thread is pushed towards the back of the lists, and then edit them. Only you two will know where the threads are...would this work?
