CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi all! I hope to maybe post some here again but not to become involved in arguments if I can avoid them.
Of course, someone mentioned my signature. I felt compelled to add that in large and bold letters because I think we as Christians face a pretty clear-cut choice this time around. The forces of evil are powerfully arrayed for the destruction of innocent life, the sanctity of marriage and the family.

LOL. Sometimes easier said than done isn't it? I've seen some bickering in TAW that I've elected to just stay out of, as well as OBOB. I have been around in GT....which automatically involves me in some sort of back and forth, but it's been mostly civil lately.

Wish I could say yes, but no.
CF seems a real Babel of confusion - worse than it was before, and I didn't really think that was possible.
I went and voted this morning to stop His Unholiness, Barack the Redistributor, Barack the Baby Slayer.
