  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

A friend of mine invited me here.

I don't know what all to say about myself. I love birds and have a bird forum.I enjoy talking with other bird owners but would like to expand my internet friendships.

I'm in Missouri and have been enjoying our weather pattern. I'm very much into weather and storm watching.

My faith is real, though it's been without direction for a long time. Hopefully here I'll be able to meet and talk with others - and learn quite a bit.

Hi my name's Molly. I live in Iowa which is North of Missouri. The game room here is called the Recreation Room. It's a really fun place :D

Hey, just wanted to add another 'welcome' to your list! So, I do enjoy birds, but do not own one myself.... I too enjoy watching storms, my fav is listening to rain while the lightning lights up the sky, : )
