CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

posts... ok, i just thought that would be funny
i havent been here for several months but now that i found the site again and plan to be here a lot more often.
the funny thing about these things (forums) is that so many people seem to find friends on them and you all know eachother and even tho so many people respond to me and say hi i cant really seem to get past the part of it all being online... somehow it seems almost unreal... but im not so sure if its the online thing at all... actually now that i think of it... it seems to be more of the idea of having to respond to the multitude of people who respond to me... its almost like i have so many to choose from that the very thought of getting to know any of you seems overwelming...
so in conclusion, ive decided that, this time... instaid of staying on for a few weeks and "trying out" the forum... im going to actually try and get out there and make my name heard... or at least learn some of yours

Hey Penny I am glad you came back I am a newbie here and I dont know anyone but yeah this sight helps me learn more about him so that is why I am coming online as frequently as I can. And maybe I will learn some other stuff from these forums as well.

ive got a lot to learn about the online comunity but dont we all... i think its great that people all over the globe and get connected but the problem is that is isnt face to face so its hard to tell whats real... thats the good thing about this place, at least you can have some assurance that the people who come here are real and decent... or are surching for the truth
