Yeah Vanders lives near me, and occasionally comes to our church- he used to come here a lot before he moved up north the first time, so we go way back.

I go to a Baptist church down swansea way. Im also involved with a Uniting church group through the uni.

cool, i haven't seen Brad for a while-- i'm at uni, i haven't hooked up with any Christian groups there, i've dropped in once to the Newcastle Christian Students meeting thing and it was really theologically informative, but i haven't been back. i got three more years to go. i love it hey, uni is way better than work!

i'm studying maths and teaching : maths cause i love maths; and teaching cause i want to learn how to teach -- but i'm not sure if i want to be a "maths teacher", perhaps, guess i'll wait and see how i feel in 3 years... i was a youth worker (with kids out of detention centres) for two years, worked at a nursery for two years, youth volunteer with a church in sydney for 6 months, studied theology for six months, studied music industry skills for 6 months, youth volunteer at charlie (my church!) for a year... that's pretty much my life from a work perspective... oh and i got a job at a callcentre once and walked out after one hour heh heh... and i teach piano and guitar sometimes, though at the moment i've only got one student. yep.

Thats pretty cool mate. My mum started doing arts/teaching there this year as well, so you've probably had some of the same classes!

We'll have to meet up at uni some time next year.

Good stuff, mate! I do some very part time teaching as well and have all of one piano student but it's heaps of fun!

Cool, yeah for sure inquisitor, i probably if i have seen your mum, she might have even been in one of the peer teach classes cause i was in a class of older people cause most people are straight out of highschool so i got thrown in with 35+ yr olds! it was cool.
