Hi I'm Virginia, I'm from New York. And for years I've been struggling to follow the Lord. I go to church as often as I can but with being in college it's less and less so. I even find when I don't have homework I don't go to church half the time any more. I used to go every Sunday without fail. I'm hoping to change that soon. I figured a great first step in getting back to God would be joining a forum like this. Hopefully with help from this place and my church family I'll be able to find my way back to God.
A little about myself, I'm 35 years old and I'm in my second year of college. I'm in a program called L.I.V.ES (Learning Independent Vocational Educations Skills) It's a way for people who have disabilities who normally would never be able to go to college to go. You don't get credit and you don't really get a diploma. But it gives you a chance to go to college for 4 years for free and take whatever classes you wan. I'm been struggling with stress, depression a lot lately and had a bit of a mental breakdown two nights ago. Thankfully a friend from college had helped me through it. But that wasn't my turning point, it should have but it wasn't. This morning I woke up with 3 strange scratches on my inner leg just above my knee. And I knew I didn't do it and I have no pets. I searched the internet. I'm not sure it's true but everything I read says it's demonic and that the only way to keep the demons away is to call out to Jesus for help. Well this is me calling out to Jesus for help. I prayed for about ten minutes and then found this site and joined it in my second step to start following the Lord.
