The sentences are sometimes backwards like where I place the chinese words in a sentence or to me its difficult to say a much shorter sentence whereas in English if I said the same sentence it would be sometimes much longer- translation between yingwen ye zhongwen bu cong !

I'm new to this website so I can't post links yet. But if you go to Biblegateway.com and post genesis 1:6 and select the "Easy-To-Read" version, it'll say,

"Then God said, “Let there be a space to separate the water into two parts!”

This should help you in the future with other bible verses.
