  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

not only am i fairly new to cf forums, but i am new to pet rescuers. i am really excited about this. i told my husband i feel like a 10 yr. old...i am going to save "virtual" pets. he thinks i am crazy...but he has seen how happy it makes me. it doesnt sound silly to me...ok, maybe it does. i am in love with cfpets and i cant stand to see them unhappy. that is how i knew this job was for me! i dont take my job lightly...even though my husband doesnt take it real seriously...lol! thank you for having me and i am looking forward to getting to know everyone and all the little quirks that make cfpets so much fun and enjoyable! :wave:

hi there! i am in team hope and you should have seen me last night! i was feeding the pets at 15%!! i know i must have read 60% + but i just skipped over it (or it didnt register!). so tonight when i checked them, i found that those that were at 50% had me very worried that maybe i need to set my alarm and check them in the middle of the night. i would hate one to get to hight up there! and i am a nurse...i have the motto...."not on my watch!!" lol! i just cant stand seeing them so hungry!!!

I know the feeling! I cant stand seeing them hungry either but unfortunately we are not allowed feed them until 60% which sucks but its the rules! We are allowed feed the animals on the abandoned thread as often as we like at any hunger and also the pets in the adoption room are the same!
Nah you dont need to set your alarm to get up to check on them, they wont die if they go past 60% and there will be others around to keep an eye on them if they get too hungry!
