Hi, I'm Emjay. Wife to my DH for 5 years. We have been blessed with 3 children DD8, DD3, and DS1. I've spent the last decade working in early childhood care and education but it's time for a change so I'm currently studying towards becoming a midwife. I'm not 'settled' in a church at the moment for various reasons. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone here. :wave:

Welcome to CF :wave: I've been married for 23 years to my loving husband. My sons are 20 and 22 :) Silly question: what does DH, DD and all the other letters stand for? :blush:

DH = Darling Husband or Dear Husband
DD = Darling Daughter
DS = Darling Son
The number is their age.

Waiuku , or, west of Pukekohe or south of Auckland, whichever you prefer.
Did you happen to hear about or go to Jules Riding's concert in your neck of the woods, about a week or so ago?

No, I didn't hear about the concert, but I live under a virtual rock of my own creation :D

Welcome, do you have much trouble with feral hobbits?

Yes! Three have invaded my home over the past 8 years and they refuse to leave. They're eating me out of home and hearth... breakfast, second breakfast, elevensies, lunch, afternoon tea, high tea, dinner, supper, midnight snacks and drinks of water :swoon: But I've come to love them feral as they may be ;)

I believe Lego spread liberally over the floor is an effective way to get rid of them.
