Hi everybody

Hi everyone, I am a student at Utah State University, and I am also a former Mormon. I recently convertent to traditional Christian (protestent) after 10 years of being a Mormon. Thats one reason I came to these forums and maybe ill soon post my experience of being one and why I left.

I am looking for some verses in the Bible that talk about making decicions in life, winning/losing, fighting for something, having confidence about a upcomming challange, or anything that relates to any of that.

I can't think of many verses right off the bat, but I do have this one:

Ephesians 6:12
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Welcome!! Welcome to CF and to the Family! I have friends who like you have left the Morman belief. Will say a prayer for you to find what you seek. Here are a few verses that came to mind for you:

Rom 8:1 [There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Rom 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who [can be] against us?

Rom 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

LOL, I think the Lord is telling you to read Romans Chapter 8!!! LOL!

Psa 119:105 NUN. Thy word [is] a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Psalms 91 (This is one of encouragement and comfort to all those who place their faith in Jesus and Father God!)
