CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I do enjoy being a moderator, but i'm still learning. Mostly check for blatant rule violations, thankfully, there aren't many.
My favorite book, wow, hard to narrow down to one, probably, for personal reasons, Sacred Romance by John Eldredge.

Non-denom, along the lines of Calvary Chapel, but independent, my brother's the pastor. It's my second family.

I'm unemployed right now, looking for anything as a receptionist. I also am self-employed as a transcriptionist.
My kids are adopted, they are the biggest, heart-stopping blessing in my life. There is nothing I wouldn't do for them. They're pretty much grown now, but i'm still close to them, particularly my daughter.

My daughter's in college now, just got back from going to see her for "Parents Weekend", was great to be with her, she's my best friend. She's studying to be a teacher.

All kinds, some favorites are Lifehouse, Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, The Real McKenzies (some language), Jackson Browne, Iron Maiden, lol, Eagles, Jars of Clay, Rita Springer, Mannheim Steamroller, Josh Groban, see, little of everything.

CF, lol, love movies, again, almost any kind, listening to music, walking, tho that will be more difficult with winter setting in, cooking and reading.
