Hey everyone! Just joined and thought that I'd introduce myself. My name's Jamie and I live in South Carolina. I'm a student at Coastal Carolina University and am currently a biology major but am soon going to change. The bio department asks us to know evolution as a fact and not as a theory. Just don't want to have anything to do with that! I've been saved for years and have always had great faith. Only recently, though, have I become more involved in Church and Christianity.

I hope that I can contribute something good to this board!

I know what thats like. When I was in College, I had to learn it too. I just kinda let it go in one ear and out the other though. I can't go to college anymore though, thanks to my current predicament.

Welcome to CF! which course would you be doing then?
i did science a bit, and evolution is a big word that would guarantee you marks (as the lecturer said enthusiastically). I dropped science not because of evolution, but if you really liked biology, it's better to stick with it than do something that you don't like doing. Eitherway, we'll have to face it, the world loves evolution more than God.

Jamie, If you learn their reasons for believing evolution is a fact, later when you graduate you will know exactly where all their theories went wrong. You can share this with others who believe their right and bring them over to the truth. That would be a great ministry.
