My name is Brian. I am a freshman at Ohio University majoring in Video Production. I have been a christian my whole life and I am very involved with the campus ministry stuff here at OU. CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

O man.. video production! thats really cool. What are you planning to get into when you graduate? I've always thought to myself... if I dont make it as a scientist, I am SO gonna make christian contemporary video clips and stuff. Not only will I be meeting all my favourite artists, but I'd be, in a way, be doing something for God as well! haha. But yea...looks like i'll make it as a scientist :B

actually i started here wanting to do news and stuff like that. But now I have had the opportunity to meet a few bands and even see a music video being made (A video by Salvador) I am thinking maybe God is calling me to do that. I also had the opportunity to see Eastman Curtis, a Christian youth minister guy that is on TV, and I talked to him about his show and I might end up there so to sum it up I don't know.

Its a really good feeling to know where we're headed in life. Its like yknow...you do certain things cos you feel good doing it. Like film production, for example. And you know that you're totally doing God's will because you're so happy doing it, and that makes God happy. You're doing what He created you to do. So cool to be able to do all that you've done...and so much more to come!! Its unimaginable!!! Send me the raw footage if you make a video for Jars Of Clay!! i would absolutely chop my arm off for that!!!
