CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

yea me too!! I've been really depressed lately... and very lonely. I don't feel like my life's worth anything. I'm desperately trying to seek help. I was thinking maybe if I turn to the Lord I could change my life around... but I just cant

I am sorry to hear you have all had such a rough time. Jesus knows about rough times, that is why He came to earth, to share in our experiences. He was sinless, yet He died a dreadful death on the cross to take away our sins, yours and mine that we might know His love, His healing and His peace. He is the only way.
Take all your hurt to the cross in prayer and trust in Him. If you trust in Him, He can heal you and make you all new people in His strength, not ours.
There is no problem too big, no sin too bad, that His sacrifice on the cross can't deal with and purify. The price has already been paid. Jesus loves you with an everlasting love. In your human weakness He is your strength. Take all your burdens to Him, He is waiting for you and when you go to Him and repent and give your lives over to HIM, there is a whole host of heavenly angels waiting to rejoice with you.
