It's not too hard, actually. Just save the video clips you want on your computer, save the music or sound or whatever to your computer, then use Windows Movie Maker to throw it all together. I started an AMV once but never finished it... it's not easy, lemme tell you. I'd post it but I deleted it. ^^;

Well, it's not THAT easy... you gotta get timing right and stuff, plus find the right clips for the right moments in the song. At least if you want it to be good.

I could never use WMM - it was never very user-intuitive on my end. And coming from someone that uses editing software commonly used by professionals (i.e. Adobe Premiere), that definitely says something. It also might have to do with me starting out with my AMVs using VirtualDub, which is about the closest to the VCR editing method you can get with a computer. VirtualDub is really supposed to be used for video processing, not editing, so I guess I just hardened up fast.

It's funny also, 3 of my videos have shown up on YouTube (heck, before that one of them actually showed up on Kazaa). Without my permission, too, but at least they aren't trying to take credit (although for one of them the commentators think the uploader made it, but that's partially my fault for not putting a bumper on that one). Eh, doesn't really matter for my new videos, as those are/will be using a format I doubt can be cracked by the casual users of that site.
