Hey Guys can satan enter your dreams?

Guys I have been having the worst nightmares for about a week straight. They always involve terror and I sleep right thru them. I have no control like I used to when I would see something going wrong I would wake up. IDK why I'm having these dreams. Sometimes I give into the temptation of porn where I can see it coming from but, I also live in a ungodly house. These dreams make me anxious in the morning and I always thought it was because I quit klonopin for my anxiety. I told my doctor that I'm going to need to be put back on it for my anxiety and he said yes. So I have to wait and see if my stress about OCD and panic disorders is causing these dreams. Or if the enemy is entering my dreams at night to make me anxious. I saw this movie called Law Abiding citizen and after that it was like that movie traumatized me and been fearful ever since. Please guys God is working in my laif about the porn where I'm not counting the day I have not seen it. And I feel as tho God is breaking me of the habit. So maybe the devil is angry and trying to hurt me because God is giving me Victory in my life. Please I'm really anxious like all the time because of these dreams and I don't want to go into details about them. I just need direction in my life.

In my personal experience, I have known people to be tormented by demons while they are sleeping. This may be the case with you. However, someone who is saved cannot be possessed, so don't be afraid because you're under Gods protection as someone who is saved. First and foremost I would pray. Pray to have this demonic influence removed from your life. God will help you but when you sin you are letting it back in so you need to make an effort to get it out of your life for good. Pray before you go to bed to have dreams which are positive and beneficial, that renew your faith. Pray that the Holy Spirit help you with your struggle to overcome your sins.

Second, immerse yourself in the Word of God. Renew your mind with the Word and listen to the Holy Spirit and let Him teach you how to understand it and apply it to your life. Start with John and then cycle through Matthew Luke and Mark and then read John again. It's important to keep the Word fresh in our minds because we need it to live a life pleasing to God. The Word contains the instructions of our Lord and how to follow Him and enter the Kingdom of God, justified before the Throne and as brothers and sisters to Christ and heirs to the throne. Our belief in Gods promises are accounted to us for righteousness. We should renew our minds with them and keep them fresh in our minds.

Third allow the Holy Spirit to convict you of your sin and repent from it. Here is a good study guide on this..try this in a search engine:

Remember that God will help you through your trials, and if you're confronted by the enemy, you need only call upon the name of Jesus Christ, the name above all other names, to drive them away. I will pray that your faith is restored and these things attacking you are driven away. God bless.

Thank you Sun, I really appreciate it. I have been struggling with sin and I am convicted but God in His might is breaking the vicious cycle I know He is. I just have a hard time with these dreams and I will also immerse myself in praying and try my hardest to get in the Word of God.

I am brand new here, and this is my first post. But, I just had to say something because I have been through something like this with horrible dreams. I had someone at my church suggest I read the verse on the Armour of God. I began reading it every night and my bad dreams stopped.

I'm pretty sure humans are protected when we don't have the ability to think or reason, such as in dreams or early childhood, so I'd think they were just nightmares and you're free from influence. I've had a lot of dreams over a period of years where I was fighting various things and feeling like I was dying, but they just stopped one day. I was having personal issues during those years, and I've recently worked them out and feeling better without having nightmares.

Is there any internal, emotional or strong feeling gnawing at you? I've found prayer is good, but using it to surpress feelings or issues you need to address aren't what it and reciting biblical quotes are ment to do. Repression can cause manifestation in your dreams as a way for your brain to get you to face it, at least it was for me

I've had trouble with really horrible dreams. It's always a good idea to pray before going top bed - especially if you feel worried. Also, remember, that the Lord always hears you - whether you are awake or asleep. A while ago, I had this dream where I was hopelessly lost - unable to find my way back to my wife. In desperation, I prayed, and asked the Lord to help me find my way, back to my wife. So, the next moment, I hear this voice, from above, saying: "My child, where are you right now?" I paused for a while, and realized that I'm in my bed, dreaming. So, I replied with: "I'm at home, in my bed, Lord." Next, I heard: "So, what do you need to do to get to your wife?". As I realized that I just need to wake up, I was yanked out of the dream, and felt such joy in my heart. It made me realize that we are quite free to ask for help, even when we're asleep.

Maybe consider anointing your bedroom walls with oil. Sounds silly, but it's not the action itself so much as the symbolism behind it.

I started getting into porn smoking cigarettes and before I knew I was almost at the point of no return, I am very tired right now and will get into more of this tomorrow but I read your post and I just had to tell to repent and do whatever it takes to get away from that porn and whatever other kind of sinful life style you may be living in because brother it will bring you to a place you sure don’t want to be believe me,

get on your face and repent and plead for God’s forgiveness grace mercy and restoration, it’s been over a year and I am just start to feel God in me off and on again, but I thank God I can feel him at all brother! Man we do not want to play games with God, I love you brother and I will be crying out for you believe me!!! Good night and may the peace of Christ rest upon you and the precious anointing of the Holy Spirit break every yoke of bondage in your life in the name of Yeshua Praise him.

Yes. Saved or not, we can be attacked. We are instructed to boldly call upon the name of Jesus and evil will flee. Do it out loud Brother just as Jesus did because Satan can't read your mind, he can only put things there. Arm yourself with the word of God.

i would look to medicine and prayer. and the answer to your question is yes, Satan might be aloud to give you nightmere's, but what he ISNT allowed to do is make your choices for you. You must choose to stop looking at porn and do what is right, if you do and God finds you worthy, then your nightmeres will end someday. otherwise, they will continue until your existance BECOMES a living nightmere.
