  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hello. My name is Amanda, I'm 17 and I've finally gave myself completely over to God. I've been a Christian all my life. I had faith but I was too selfish to change my ways and live my life for Him. That has all changed and I am doing everything in my power to please Him. I'm just trying to be the best person I can be.

I'm home schooled, I have been for 7 years. I love reading. I volunteer a lot and enjoy helping people. I love philosophical discussions about everything. I've never been interested in dating, kissing, or sex. I'm asexual (A person who does not experience sexual/physical attraction).

My whole family are Christians but we never go to Church despite my efforts to try and get them to go. I desire fellowship with other believers but my family is too wrapped up with this life to worry about eternity. But we are going to Church this Sunday. I pray it is the right one for us.

I live with my Mother, she has Lupus, diabetes, and a lot of other illnesses. She and I are going through a VERY rough time right now. Satan is feeding us lies. We are severely depressed and getting ready to give up on life. But we've given it all to God, it is in his hands now.
