We've been married twenty two days and He has what we thought was a chest infection. So he went to the doctor and it turns out he has chronic enphasema which means his lungs are breaking up. But thats not whats bothering me, the think he's happy about it.He made me promise to not pray for his healing, so I haven't as I keep my promises. The thing is when I asked him why he said he'd been depressed for a very long time and I already knew this but the fact that he is happy to die is not only upsetting me but it's making me feel like I am powerless to help. So instead I have been praying that he will get through this depression and hope that he will realise that he has so much to loose. So I am asking if you would also pray for my husband Craig to aid him with his depression please. Thankyou all

It sounds as if your husband does not understand fully what God's healing is. God's healing is about making any one of us whole. That may or may not involve physical healing, depending on the will of God. But it always involves blessing the person, and asking for God's love and mercy for their lives.

There are some people who God heals by taking home, and this will be true for all of us one day. I pray that your husband will be spared to you for many years to come, but none of us can know what the will of God is, or when our time has come.

I pray for God to hold you both in his arms during this very difficult time, and that he reveal his love to you more each day.
