Who has seen this movie? I just saw it this morning. I thought it was great. It is a Asian Shakespearean tragedy. Great fight scenes.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yeah -- the director is the guy who directed Raise the Red Lantern... Zhang, I think? Crouching Tiger was directed by Ang Lee.
I saw it Friday night. It's a good movie. Wire work is still a stumbling block to me, but it's definitely a sight to see.

I saw it yesterday - fantastic movie! If you don't like nonlinear movies, then you might not like it as well, but still give it a try. Stunning visuals!

Defintelely not what I was expecting. But I enjoyed it nonetheless. "nonlinear" is an understatement, but despite that there was something about it that I enjoyed that I can't put my finger on. Really made it worthwhile.

I really enjoyed this movie. It's definitely a good movie, but I'm gonna save my judgement on how good it is and how much I like it until I see it a couple times again. There was just a lot to take in.

Yes, I saw this movie just today at the theatre. The story and the plot twists were very cool and so were the fight scenes. My parents didn't like it but then, they don't really understand English and don't understand Chinese at all. I was the only one thinking it was pretty cool so yeah, bigups to Jet Li!

Average movie. I expected to be massive, but it wasn't. It wasn't entertaining as much as I thought it would be. The scene transitions were really confusing. I didn't know which part of the story they were at.

It certainly made me think. I saw it with the original Mandarin language and with Greek subtitles, so I didn't understand a word they were saying. Haven't been that confused in a long time.

This movie was absolutely incredible. In-cred-i-ble. I would say it has to be one of the best movie I have ever seen. It's definately not something for just entertainment. It really makes you think.
