Hey guys...or gals. I just got my second set of Hermit crabs from my cousins, who got pinched and didnt want them anymore and sent them to me. Just wanted to know if anyone else has hermit crabs and what kind of equpiment you use.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

When I was a kid I had hermit crabs. I didn't realize that they wanted new shells once in a while, so when I saw them out of their shells I thought they had died. In fact I thought one of them had eaten the other and THEN died. I got rid of them because I so obviously did not have a clue.
Anyway, put extra shells in the tank for them.

Mine are land crabs, and i have 6 extra shells (3 for each) in case they want to move. I previously had two but they died last year.
