My story begins when I was a little girl, probably around elementary school age. My grandma took me to her church in San Pedro a few times. I went to Sunday school there and learned a lot that stuck with me. I learned about Samuel's calling, how David was chosen to be king, and many others. Along the way, I stopped going to that church and I did not go to any church until my high school years.
In high school, during my junior year, my stepmother (back then she was just my dad's girlfriend) invited me to go to a church winter camp with her daughter. I went and it was nice. On that Saturday morning, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior. That day was March 11, 2000.
I have been going to my current church for a little over three years. Things have gone all right, despite the frequent attacks I get from the evil one. I have plenty of friends who love me and a God who loves me more than all of them combined!
I am glad I chose to become a Christian. If I didn't, I do not know where I would be today, probably physically and spiritually dead and in hell.
